We went to the Hunter Valley Gardens in NSW. There were nursery rhymes there and beautiful gardens. I saw some of the nursery rhymes and we took photos with the statues. Some of the nursery rhymes were Humpty Dumpty, Jack and Jill, Little Bo Peep and Alice in Wonderland.

The next day we went into Sydney. We went on the Manly Ferry. On the ferry we got to see the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Opera House and the Prison Island. When we got off the train and walked up to the street, Sam called out “Hello Sydney”. I was a bit embarrassed!! Sam reckons its good to embarrass your sister!

In Muswellbrook there are lots of things to do. I have been playing
with Tilly the dog, bouncing on the trampoline and doing school with
mum and dad.

On Saturday I went to see my cousin Jordan play rugby. He won his game
and is in the grand final now. I will see him play again this weekend.
He wants to show us how good he is.

I have 9 weeks left on my trip before I come home

We Made a Rope Ladder

Today Ellie and I made a ladder that is made out of string and strong wood. We use the ladder for climbing up trees. We are now in NSW staying Sapphire Beach near Coffs Harbour. I heard you had big storms in Perth, but over here it is sunny and nice. We heard our fence in Butler blew down last night!

Ellie Meets Bindi Irwin

At Bindi’s 11^th birthday I tried the trapeze. I got to pat a roo and a koala! I got to see ponies! When we were at the crocoseum we heard the famous Jessica Mauboy sing. We saw Bindi feed a croc called Monty.When we went back to the Crocoseum I got a photo with Bindi and won 3 prizes; a wombat, a bindi girl doll and a movie. I loved it! Love from Ellie

I am on the Sunshine Coast and not far from Brisbane. On Friday I am going to Australia zoo AND GUESS WHAT it WILL BE BINDYS 11 TH BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and kids get in FREE!!!! cant wait to see you again! love from Ellie and sam

This is Sam writing.

We have been to lots of places. We've been to Berry Springs and the Darwin
Wave Pool. I liked Berry Springs, but not so much the Wave Pool as the waves
were pretty big.

We also went to the markets and I got on the giant trampoline and I bounced
really high!

We went canoeing up the Katherine Gorge. We rested on a little beach and I
saw the only croc for the day. It was lying on the riverbank.

I have been staying with my cousins and having fun.

Berry Springs

We have been in Darwin and today we went to Berry Springs. It is a
huge natural swimming pool and very warm. I liked it.

Hi guys, here’s more stops we have stopped that I haven’t told you about yet!

Boab Stop
At Boab stop we had our first fire and roasted marshmallows and Sam caught his on fire!! We found a huge hollow boab tree that we could climb into. When we got in, ants crawled up our legs! They used to use boab trees for prisons.

Fitzroy Crossing
Here we found lots of mini lemons. I made homemade lemonade with them. Everyone liked it. I didn’t swim in the pool much because it was FREEZING! We saw a baby snake slithering on the ground, trying to get into the grass. It took a little while but it was cute. Mum and Sam saw a freshwater crocodile in Geike Gorge. My legs were aching because we were walking so far.

This is the town where my great nana and great grandpa were buried. We visited their graves.

Halls Creek
We went down to Palm Springs near Halls Creek. There was a nice pond there that we could swim in. There were little fish. If you have seen Finding Nemo, one of the little fishes looked like Gill. There were dead bush turkeys on the ground that someone had eated. There was another river at the back of our camper too. We made our own fishing rods out or reeds. We tied a hook on the end and they nibbled the bait off. I fished with a real fishing rod too.

Guess what, I caught one and the hook got stuck down its throat so I had to cut its head off to get it out.

Kununurra
My favorite part here was Emma Gorge. I wished that all of you could see it. I could climb up the rock wall to the warm water and I swam right out to a big rock. We sat on it and then I swam over to the water fall. I was so tired that even my easiest swimming was tiring. The water was nice and clear and green. It was cold but nice because I was hot from walking 3kms. The walk was very long and rocky but its ok because I am a good climber. When we arrived there, there is a big waterfall coming over a cliff into the pool.

I wish it was something I could have done with you all.

The caravan park pool was nice and there was a playground. At the pool there was a spa and on the fence there were two owl birds. They sat there most of the day.

It has been excellent so far.

We Have Been in Broome!

On Wednesday we went to a crocodile park. We saw lots of crocs and aligators. They eat fish. It was fun. I saw camels on Cable Beach and I took Molly the dog for a walk.

We have been going to Cable Beach. There can be big or small waves. I like jumping waves!

Barn Hill and Broome

I have been to Barn hill. Now, let me tell you about Barn Hill. On the first day I met a girl named Maegan. Maegan is a kind girl and very clever. At Barn hill it has a lovely beach. The sad thing is you can not take a shell or rock.

If you are scared of sea creatures there are none but I saw a turtles head 9 TIMES!

We are in Broome now. We have some friends here called Mike & Heidi & Jordan. We are going to Malcom Douglas' Crocodile farm and we are staying in a house while we are here. I like it better than the camper because Sam can't make the bed rock and I can get to sleep.

It is hotter than Perth but we have ice cream and nice cold stuff in the fridge and I tried to steal it.

We are here until next Monday and then we are going to Winjana Gorge near Derby.

I am in Hedland

I am in Hedland and we are going to Barn Hill whichb is a beautiful beach near Broome. I am living with Charleenie who used to go to Butler Primary. I am excited about seeing everyone I know.

We got to go up to the lighthouse. The ant bit my mums butt! I went to the drop off at Coral Bay. I went to see a snapper. We got to feed him.

We saw some big gorges in Exmouth. At the beach we saw big red jellyfish!

We drove to Coral Bay. We went snorkeling. Do you know that the water was so clear you can see through it! When we went snorkeling I saw my first snapper. When we had lunch we left the crust so we could feed the snapper. I saw 3 which grew into 4 . 4 grew into 7. Then one bit my mums toe! Ha Ha Ha. Then we headed up to Exmouth.
